Club Rules

There is no exception to any of these rules

  1. Eye and ear protection is mandatory and must be worn by both shooters and spectators.
  2. Members and guests must sign in when attending the club.
  3. Shooting must cease between the hours of 10:30 PM and 7:30AM.
  4. Range in use signs must be displayed at the main gate as well as any ranges being used.
  5. 22 Rim fire rifles are the only rifles currently allowed on any range. Shotgun slugs and rifle cartridge handguns are not allowed.
  6. Shooting, trapping, or harassing of wild life on club property is not allowed.
  7. Holstered guns are only allowed on PPC and IPSC ranges. Holstered guns are not allowed inside any buildings.
  8. Semi jacketed ammo is not to be used on metal targets. FMJ and lead is allowed on all ranges.
  9. Targets on appropriate target stands in the approved down range position is all that is to be shot at on any range.
  10. All rules regarding storage and transportation of firearms and ammunition must be followed.
  11. Guests are the responsibility of members. Guests will be under the direct supervision of a member at all times.
  12. Guests discharging firearms on any range must be within arms length of a supervising member.
  13. Members supervising guests must not shoot while the guest is shooting or be occupied by any other task other than said supervision.
  14. Only two guests per member are allowed at the club at one time. Only one guest will shoot at a time.
  15. Probationary members (members with less than one year experience) may have only one guest at a time.
  16. Competent guests who have a valid ATT may shoot unsupervised.
  17. When more than one member is using the same range, someone must be appointed range officer.
  18. Appointed range officers must inspect each shooting station and firearms before anyone proceeds down range.
  19. No one will proceed down range until the range has been made safe and the range officer has given permission to go forward.
  20. No one will approach the firing line or handle anything on the bench until the range has been declared HOT by the range officer.
  21. No one will ever handle a firearm when the range is declared safe.
  22. Any infractions of these rules, or unsafe conduct will result in disciplinary action or revocation of club privileges.
